team 5’s WALT: How can I use the Elements of Drama to express myself?
Our Point England way is to always kick start the term with an immersion assembly. Today was no difference our senior management team started us off by introducing our theme: Transformers – Which is all about drama. Team 5 is learning to use the elements of drama (EOD) to express ourselves.
Team 5’s play was about Cinderella with a plot twist. Team 5 had created a skit using drama to portray events in the movie.
my highlight in the immersion assembly was team 3’s skit/musical because they’re skit was based on Matilda and they had a chocolate cake and in the end they shoved cake in miss Moala’s face.
Drama is all about using theatrical arts to express ourselves, some ways we could do this is create or act in a play, or even join a drama club, drama helps spark our imagination and creativity skills and helps us to build our confidence.
