Art Expo

Today at school we had our ‘Pt England Art Works Exhibition’  We had to make masks out of paper mache. The hardest process of making our masks I think was the painting. First we had to make a plan with colours of what colour we will be making our masks and then once we did that we would paint it. When we got to paint it the paint brush was to thick and hard to work with. The easiest part about our mask process was ripping the paper up to stick to the base (balloon) with glue. I learnt that things always as easy as they look.

MOTAT Thank You Letters

Dear Mary, and other KPMG helpers,

My name is Hailey and I am in Room 6 at Point England School. Last week on Friday, we went to MOTAT. I am writing this letter to thank you for being a helper on our school trip!

My favourite part of MOTAT was the tram ride because we got to ride it to MOTAT Two and back. On the way back the conductor told us a bit about it like how old it was, and where it came from.

Something else I enjoyed at MOTAT was the room with all the old cars. I enjoyed this because it was really cool to see what the old cars looked like.

I really appreciate you helping us at MOTAT because we couldn’t have had the trip without you and other KPMG helpers. I liked how our group got to hang out with you because you were really fun to hang out with and you were really nice.

-Sincerely, Hailey.

Last week on Wednesday we went to MOTAT. This week we have been writing thank you letters to thank the KPMG helpers since we couldn’t have the trip without them.

Creative writing – eager sailor

Breaking news a eager sailor has entered a sandcastle building contest and is determined to win the 1 million dollar prize. Will he win? Keep reading to find out. With 10 buckets and 10 spades he is digging away determined to win people joining his team to help while he pays them 10 cents a day minimum work wage  *2 days later* UPDATE! The eager sailor  has been cheated out due to cheating by buying team mates and is currently raging around town punching people for voting to cheat him out. 5 in a coma 6 seriously injured. The eager sailor is still on the loose while police are hunting him down.

Last term we were learning how to do creative writing and we had to write about a eager sailor who entered a sand castle building contest. I think next time I could do better by adding more adjectives and similes and try make it more interesting.
